Aren't long drapes that fall from the ceiling and puddle at the floor so attractive? In this bedroom photo are curtains shown byThe Shade Store. The Shade Store has a showroom here in the Portland area. Their window coverings are custom made in the US.

Install curtain rods a minimum of 2 inches above your window casing. To visually extend the height of the ceilings and walls, install the curtain rod even higher, as close to the ceiling as you wish to go.
